AROUND
AND ABOUT
|
Bulgaria is amazingly diverse - vast Black Sea beaches,
green and rugged mountains, a fertile land and curative
mineral springs. Modern resorts, as well as secluded
nooks where one is alone with nature, are part of its
beautiful landscape.

|
A holiday in the Bulgarian Black Sea resorts is a
genuine experience both for you and your children. Caressing
sun, warm sea, guaranteed suntan, sports, amusement,
attractions and high spirits from March through to October.
The people are warm, friendly and welcoming and thankfully,
many speak very good English.
Away from the resorts, there is a strong sense of
turning back the clock some 10 years or more. Your money
will go a long way, particularly if you can find the
shops and restaurants used by the locals.

Places
Nearby
Sunny Beach Only 5 km
from Messambria, Sunny Beach is the biggest, liveliest and sunniest
resort on the Black Sea coast, with the longest and widest beach
and everything you could think of for the family holiday. It is
only a short bus or taxi journey away.
Nessebar From your apartment,
look out across the bay and in the distance you will see the charming
ancient village of Nessebar. One place not to miss!!
Designated a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1983, and
dating back to the 6th Century B.C. you will not be disappointed
by the beautiful narrow cobbled streets with their many small shops
and historic buildings. There are also several cafes and restaurants,
many overlooking the sea, where you can while away some time just
soaking up the atmosphere or partaking in some serious people watching.
The harbour plays host to several sailing boats, which can be seen
throughout the summer days passing in front of Messambria taking
holiday makers on pleasure trips.
A little bit further – but worth a visit Sozopol,
Bourgas and Varna.
