E3 Systems engineers also make home visits to support the domestic PC user.

Below is a list of only some typical occasions where E3 Systems engineers have helped Home PC users out. We offer a great range of services to Home Users and if your problem or requirement is not shown - Well it's still likely that E3 Systems can help out.

  • Broadband Installation/Upgrade
    Assisting the home user to upgrade from an Internet 'Dial-up' connection to DSL or Cable Broadband. E3 will guide the user right from the start, advising of the most suitable solution for the users need. E3 can recommend Internet Service Providers from a wealth of tried and tested suppliers.

    When the new broadband equipment arrives, an E3 Systems engineer can install it and fully test that everything is operating correctly. He/She will ensure that the Home User can access the Internet and can send and receive emails.
     
  • Wireless Networking
    With the popularity of wireless networking and the recent price drops in domestic equipment, many Home Users want to take advantage of the freedom afforded by the new technology.

    Using wireless devices, users can access the Internet from any room within their home, effortlessly. Sometimes buying the right equipment and setting it up correctly can be complicated.

    E3 Systems engineers have installed and configured many wireless modems and routers and have enabled users to roam their home whilst connected to the Internet and also to share their connection with multiple computers within the home.
     
  • Email Configuration & Support
    Almost everyone uses email nowadays. 'Talking' to friends and family, work colleagues; we even email our bank managers! But when it stops working.... an E3 Systems engineer can visit a Users home and establish what problems are preventing a user from sending/receiving emails.

    If the problem is local to the Home PC or Internet connection, the engineer will quickly diagnose and rectify the fault. If the problem is with the Internet Service Provider or the email hosting organisation, the engineer will liaise with the relevant Help Desks on the customers behalf, establish what exactly the problem is and will assist the user in getting back on-line as quickly as possible.

    The E3 Systems engineer will constantly keep the customer appraised of what is happening, explaining, fully any technical issues in clear non-jargon language.
     
  • Virus and Trojan removal.
    As the popularity and offerings of the Internet have increased, so to has the quantity and frequency of computer viruses, Trojan files, digital worms and personal banking and details hacking.

    A virus infected PC will run slow, it will often not be able to access the Internet, it can suffer from operating system (normally Microsoft Windows) corruption and most serious of all, it might be relaying personal and financial information to persons unknown.

    Where an infected PC is suspected, an E3 Systems engineer will visit the User at their home, will assess the severity of infection and if possible will remove any illegitimate programs and files on-site.

    Where the PC is significantly infected, the engineer will remove the PC and take it to an E3 Systems workshop, where it will receive a full PC virus and malware service, removing all traces of infection and in addition will benefit from a 'house keeping' check where all non-required files are removed from the PC, increasing its performance substantially.
     
  • Free antivirus and anti-spyware software installed.
    When a PC receives a full workshop service, it will be loaded with FREE antivrus and anti-spyware programs. These programs are main stream, full functional, very effective titles with regular FREE virus definition updates and are absolutely free to use by any non commercial individuals or organisations. They are NOT shareware and do not contain any annoying adverts or popups.

In addition to the services offered above, E3 Systems Engineers repair and upgrade PC's, install additional components, DVD readers/writers Graphic Cards, Configure PC's for SKYPE phone usage, install additional network cabling and sockets, assist in relocating PC's to different rooms in the home, resolve additional activities supported by E3 Systems.

Office or Premises Moves

E3 Systems are experienced and competent in the movement of IT equipment, including telephones, printers, faxes and reprographic equipment from office to office or from premises to premises. We can help in the planning required to achieve a slick, trouble free move, arrange for transport, where required. De-commission equipment at the old location and then re-connect and configure it at its new destination.

We test the equipment and ensure that all necessary services are connected and we don't leave site until the customer is happy that their new office or premises is fully functional.
