Harlequin Books is located in the High Street at Staple Hill where it has been since 1994.

Staple Hill is in the north eastern corner of the Bristol region, easily accessed from the M32 and thus very conveniently located in relation to the whole motorway network.

Equally, access from the south of Bristol is made easy by the Avon Ring Road, which passes within a mile of the shopping area.

Although primarily a secondhand and 'out
of print' book seller, because we treat local history as a speciality, we do stock most,
if not all, new titles on or about Bristol and
the surrounding area.

Indeed this sector represents a significant
part of our business.

We obviously buy books, both from the trade (e.g. auction rooms and book fairs), and from private sources.

If you have books to sell we would like to hear from you but you should book an appointment to view STRICTLY IN ADVANCE. Viewings can be conducted at your home or at our shop by prior agreement.

Our spacious shop affords plenty of room for browsing, with easy access from the pavement (especially accessible for the disabled or parents with prams or pushchairs etc.)

We are open 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) with hours of business 9.30am - 4.30pm, with early closing (1.00 pm) on Wednesdays.

We accept all major credit cards including American Express as well as personal cheques and of course cash.
