AROUND AND ABOUT Tucked away in the rolling Herefordshire countryside Langstone Court Farmhouse is surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside to be found anywhere in Britain. View the countryside from a hot air balloon or hire a canoe taking you through the woodlands of the Forest of Dean and below the rugged rocks of Symonds Yat. Golf, fishing, horse riding, Llama trekking, bird watching and cycling can all be found locally along with lovely Forestry commission walks. For the more adventurous among us caving, climbing or paintballing. There are many antique shops and a small delightful theatre both in Ross-on-Wye and in the historic city of Hereford, which also has its Cathedral of Mappa Mundi fame. In the spa town of Malvern is the Winter Gardens theatre and cinema complex. There is a first class choice of restaurants and public houses nearby.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES While you are staying with us why not have a go at one of the many outdoor activities that are on offer in Herefordshire and Monmouthshire. Gorge walking in Monmouthshire is one of the most popular activities that our groups do, and involves scrambling up a river with waterfalls and obstacles to overcome as a team. If your group wants to do an activity at your accommodation why not go for Team Challenge, it’s great fun and everybody can join in. The basic idea is that your group is split into teams with each team having its own guide/scorekeeper. The teams then compete against each other and against the clock. It's fantastic fun and there are a huge range of games, puzzles and challenges to choose from. Some challenges will be mental, some physical, some creative and others just crazy. You can also go canoeing down the river wye and stop off for lunch at Symonds Yat, or if your group are more adventurous then why not try some caving either at Symonds Yat or in Monmouthshire. Finally for something different you could take your group survival training and learn how to light fires with sticks, cook wild food and build shelters, its really fun and suitable for all ages. If you fancy any of the outdoor activities on offer or want to do something else then just contact Michael Downey at LifeChangingActivities.com |
