Background Information:

Barry King has been studying whisky
for the past 3 decades, and has received
several awards. He has also had the privilege of
actually working in a famous distillery.

Barry has been carrying out tastings for many years, but now that he has
retired, he devotes all of his time to his obsession. He has set up a new venture
“for the love of Whisky” where he is busy hosting not only whisky tastings but also whisky appreciation courses and joint whisky and food events.

Barry has also accumulated an impressive array of whisky memorabilia and cooperage tools, some of which will be included in his events. He also has his own library on the subject.

experience and enthusiasm for whisky with you.

Barry is particularly keen to teach you how to nose and taste the many different types and styles of whisky and also about the regions and their influence on taste. His aim is to enable people to discover what they like most, and how to enjoy it.
